2011 Christmas Curb Appeal
Last year I made a Pottery Barn knock-off lighted garland and wanted to use it again this year. It looks pretty both day and night.
For this year, I decided to update our wreaths from having just a simple bow to being adorned with red, silver, and gold balls.
I like the pop of color that the ball adorned wreaths gives each window.
The garland looks so pretty framing our door. Magnolia from our yard fills the urns.
Instead of using the monogram wreath that I’ve used the past few years, I made a traditional wreath using greens gathered from our yard. You can’t go wrong with a green wreath with a red bow at Christmas.
The glow from the lighted garland and candles in our windows is most pleasant.
Coming home to this is pure pleasure!
I hope our neighbors are enjoying our house this Christmas as much as we are.

Your decorating looks wonderful – traditional with a lil’ festive bling! Love it – Merry Christmas!
beautiful, Paula! Probably the prettiest house in the neighborhood.
Your garland looks just like PB. What a pretty house and I love a “real” wreath on the front door (for the smell!).

Your home looks awesome! Wish I was your neighbor:):) We decorate alot and practically none of our neighbors do. It is BORING in our neighborhood!!!! XO, Pinky
Beautiful! I would enjoy it if I were your neighbor!!
There’s no doubt your neighbors are enjoying your decorated house. I always like that my neighbors get into the spirit with lights and garland and animated deer, etc. Your front door wreath is all the more special since it’s made from plants in your yard. I think when I start redoing my back yard, I’m going to plant bushes and trees that I can use for wreaths and such. Thanks for the inspiration!
Good morning Paula. It is gorgeous and you did a fantastic job. Your home looks picture perfect ready. Thanks for sharing.
Yes! The ornaments on the wreaths give such a nice pop of color…even at night! 🙂 Your home just glows!
Beautiful Paula. Love the garland!

It’s all beautiful, Paula! I’m with you–red and green and gold are my favorites at Christmastime. You’ve done a wonderful job making your house look beautiful and inviting–makes me want to march right up and ring your doorbell! 🙂
Just beautiful, and I bet it really is a pleasure to come home to at night. Love the garland around the porch area, and the wreaths look beautiful with the balls – a really lovely picture. I found your link at Met Monday and glad I did – thanks for sharing your beauty.
