Great Start to the Weekend!
Last night we took my mom and father-in-law to see Cirque du Soleil Alegria in Roanoke. I knew it would be good but I had no idea how impressive it would be. The strength and flexibility of the performers was unbelievable. To be honest, I watched with my mouth open in awe most of the time.
Mama and I just may have done a bit of giggling during this performance. Some of their body positions were just plain old funny. How one bends their spine in these positions I just don’t know.
It’s bright and sunny here, perfect for my tennis team’s match this morning. Later today I am looking forward to having some time to work my yard. I can’t wait to mow the grass and do a bit of weeding in my flower beds. After being trapped in my classroom for a week, a full day outside is just what the doctor ordered.

Cirque du Soleil is my favorite!! They really do put on quite a performance! The music is so beautiful too. I usually buy the soundtrack from each show that we’ve seen. Enjoy the beautiful day!
I’ve never seen Cirque du Soleil before, except on TV. I am always AMAZED by them on Tv though. I cannot imagine being so strong and flexible. Of course, this is coming from the girl who can’t even do a pull-up without help (that’s embarassing). Glad y’all had a good time. Hope you have a great weekend. Happy weeding!

We had tickets to see Cirque du Soleil a couple of years ago but ended up giving them to my son and daughter in law as Mr. Bruce and I couldn’t attend. Sure looks like a wonderful performance Paula. Please tell your mama Happy Mother’s Day for me.
