Best of the Weekend
Welcome to Best of the Weekend! We are glad that you are here and are starting your weekend with us.
A huge windstorm blew into our area last weekend causing us to lose power from Friday morning until Sunday night. I’m hoping that this weekend will be less eventful weatherwise but we just may get some of the white stuff on Sunday. I hope we do because this year we had no snow to speak of and I love walking in it.
It is our pleasure to host the Best of the Weekend Party each Friday night at 8pm.
If you don’t already follow us in some way, we’d love for you to do so.

What I Shared This Week
I shared a St. Patrick’s Day Vignette and my collection of vintage St. Patrick’s Day postcards.
I also shared a DIY Lace Wreath that I made using lace handed down to me from my friend’s mom.
Most Clicked
The most clicked project from last week’s party was Oatmeal Pie from Simply Stacie. Doesn’t this look tasty?
My Features
Looney for Food shared a recipe for Phyllo Wrapped Asparagus. This would be great served as an appetizer or as a side dish for an Easter meal.
Carrie Elle shared her recipe for Weight Watchers Instant Pot Egg Roll Bowl with Freestyle SmartPoints. I adore cooking with my Instant Pot and have already printed this recipe out to try. Carrie Elle made it with ground turkey but I plan to try it using ground beef.
White House Crafts shared Free Printable Rainbow Note Cards. So cute!
I look forward to what is shared this week!
Glad you made it through the windstorm! I’m already wishing for that snow on Sunday too! I could use a nice toasty home day with a touch of snow play. 🙂 Thanks for another link party!
Thanks so much for hosting each week!!
I have to try this dish with asparagus, they look really tasty, and in my opinion it will be a perfect snack for the guests.
