Best of the Weekend
Welcome to Best of the Weekend! We are glad that you are here and so much enjoy seeing everyone’s projects each week.
I’m a happy camper because school is nearly over for the year. My students have just seven more days left and I have nine. Happy dance! The great thing about being a teacher (other than working with kids) is that there is a beginning and an end to each school year. This has been one of my best years and I will miss my sweet kids next year.
Amy, Ginnie, Jenna, Cindy, and I enjoy hosting the Best of the Weekend Party each Friday night at 8pm.
If you don’t already follow us in some way, we’d love for you to do so.

What I Shared This Week
I’ve had a busy blogging week! I started the week by sharing Window Wall Decor with Vintage Magazine Covers that we used in my father-in-law’s bedroom at the lake. I shared this project with a group of bloggers all sharing farmhouse style projects. If you like farmhouse style, you’ll want to check out the links at the end of my post.
I shared my Patriotic Flower Vases as part of Thrift Store Decor Upcycle Challenge. There are some great projects to see on this post.
And finally, I shared a DIY 2×4 Bench for this month’s Power Tool Challenge. The projects made by my friends in this group are also great this month. I’m so inspired and can’t wait to make a few of them for our home.
Most Clicked
The most clicked link from last week’s party was Tanner’s Story shared by Strength and Sunshine.
My Features
Hanvan and Greg from The Navage Patch shared how they gave a silverware box a makeover.

This morning a Yankee Doodle party started! This is an opportunity to share and be inspired by all things red, white and blue. Come on over to share your crafts, recipes, and other patriotic ideas. The party goes through July 4th!
Now it’s time for you to share your projects for the week. I’m looking forward to seeing what is shared!
Thanks so much for the party and especially for the feature Paula! Can’t wait to have a project finished to link up to your Yankee Doodle Party. Have a great weekend! ;o)
