What I Shared This Week

Our newest addition to our lake house decor is a DIY 2×4 Porch Swing that we made using just eight 2×4 boards.  We love our new swing and look forward to enjoying it for the rest of the summer and into fall.

I also shared an easy to make recipe for Copycat Frosty Paws.  Our Sherman loves Frosty Paws but Kroger, where I shop for my groceries, stopped carrying them.  This dog Mama took matters into her own hands and made homemade frozen treats for her pampered pooch.

Welsh Design Studio shared how she installed a faux wood beam in her kitchen.  It looks like real wood but it’s made of Styrofoam.  She got hers at Home Depot.

Feathering My Empty Nest takes us on a tour of Thomas Jefferson’s Monticello in Charlottesville, VA.  She also offers tips for getting the best experience there.
