Cocktail Christmas Ornaments
Are you looking for a unique gift for the cocktail lover in your life? How about making a fun cocktail Christmas ornament as a gift? These ornaments are a simple to make and are sure to be a hit with the cocktail lovers in your life.
Supplies Needed:
Felt
Cardboard (I used a cereal box)
Pencil
Scissors
Ruler
Ribbon for Hanging Glue
Procedure:
Use a ruler to make templates for each cocktail. The cardboard template should be slightly smaller than the felt template as it will give the ornament support and is not seen.
Cut out the felt pieces. I didn’t make olive templates as they are simple to cut free hand.
Follow the same procedure for the Wine Cocktail Christmas Ornament. Note that the cardboard template is slightly smaller than the felt template.
I didn’t make templates for the wine or bubbles. Tracing the cardboard template onto the yellow felt made the perfect felt wine portion.
Repeat the steps above to make a Martini Cocktail Christmas Ornament.
Glue the cardboard to one felt piece, flip, and then glue the other piece of felt to the opposite side. Sandwich a piece of ribbon or rick rack in between for a hanger.
Glue the bubbles to each wine piece and then glue the pieces to each side.
After the cocktail dries the glue will not show.
Hang your cocktails on the tree and enjoy your unique Cocktail Christmas Ornament.
Cheers!
