Flag Centerpiece for the Kitchen
I’ve enjoyed decorating for the 4th this year. If you missed my patriotic mantel or my red, white, and blue bandana wreath, be sure to check them out. My kitchen table is also decked out for the fourth with a patriotic flag centerpiece and a runner that I crafted last year. Click here for directions for making this easy craft.
My friend gave me this beautiful silver bowl for my birthday. It’s actually a trophy from our club, probably won long ago in a golf tournament. My friend found it at a local estate store.
Crafting the centerpiece was easy. I stacked up some oasis and covered it with a scrap of blue fabric. If you look closely you can see that it’s the same fabric that I used to make the stripes of the flag for the table runner.
I cut a tiny slit into the fabric where I wanted to insert each flag.
This cheerful patriotic display looks great in my kitchen and makes me happy each time that I see it.
The 4th will be here before we know it!
Hi Paula! Oh, this is darling and such a clever idea too.
Be a sweetie,
shelia 🙂
Cute, aula, and I like your runner, too!
Very nice centerpiece you fixed! I like that it matches the runner too!
Lovely display, Paula! I haven’t done anything for the 4th yet. :s
That’s so cute and clever, Paula! I love the idea of July 4 decor, but I’ve been so busy lately I haven’t gotten anything done. But this I could do! Thanks for the inspiration. 🙂
The silver bowl/trophy is from your club but was found at an estate sale? That’s cool. Love your 4th f July decor. It looks so good.
