Hurray for the Stars and Stripes!
Kate from the fabulous Centsational Girl is having a Stars and Stripes party today. I’m delighted to join the fun.
This picture is from Memorial Day, but I’ll do the same thing for the 4th. I’ll put flags in my pots and put my flag floral arrangement on the door. The Verbena is much larger now!
Here’s my living room mantel. This year is the first year that I’ve decorated it for the 4th.
The 3M hangers on the wall are in the perfect position for what usually hangs over the fireplace and I didn’t have the heart to move them!
This circus tracer is really old. It belonged to one of my grandmother’s cousins. I wish I knew its story.
This vignette is on a table in my dining room. The hat belonged to the same cousin. It’s also really old.
I put two placemats side by side to make a runner for my kitchen table. A vase of white hydrangeas looks pretty here.
I’m still loving the star centerpiece that I posted about here.
WOW, Paula! You have some great things-the hat and the circus tracer! Great minds think alike-we have the same flag pocket to put arrangements in on our doors. Have a great 4th. Hope the beach has been extra special. We are still watching Kahlo while his “mom” is in Iceland. When she returns, we have a birthday celebration for her since she was a July 2 baby.
Your front porch looks so inviting…I love how you decorated it. Your mantel looks fabulous, too. I love your home!

Everything looks great, Paula!! I love your mantel!!
Everything looks nice, love your centerpiece!
I adore your patriotic spirit. It is red, white and bluetiful!
I hope you’ll stop by for my bbq on an Anthropologie inspired white tablecloth. 🙂
