Chalkboards are great to use for home decor. Today I’m sharing ideas for decorating with chalkboards that you are going to love.

Chalkboard Easels
I love using my dad’s chalkboard for decorating in different seasons. Last year I used it to decorate for Christmas in my sunroom.
One year to decorate for the 4th of July, Mr. SP drew Sherman and Uncle Sam celebrating together.
2 Bees in a Pod created this chalkboard easel using an easel found at the thrift store.
Upcycled Chalkboards
Lovely Etc. made a unique house number sign using an old mirror found at a yard sale.
Songbird used a vintage door to make a chalkboard to use in her pantry.
2 Bees in a Pod made a chalkboard using a silver tray.
Green with Decor used a thrift shop frame and wine corks to make a framed chalkboard for her kitchen.
Chalkboard Home Decor
I created these chalkboard painted pots and love using them for herbs.
Upright and Caffeinated made this cute chalkboard Christmas sign.
Fox Hollow Cottage used a vintage chalkboard as the base of her fall centerpiece.
In My Own Style shares how she created this beautiful chalk art.
Cloches and Lavender made chalkboard labels to use on her cheese board.

Ivy is my cousin’s third daughter to use this chalkboard wall.
Did you know that a bulletin board can easily be transformed into a chalkboard? I made this way back in 2013 and sold it in my shop.

I’d love to paint a small wall in my kitchen with chalk paint, but hubby can’t get his head around a black wall. Some fun ideas here that you’ve shared!
