Late Spring Display Using a Thrifty Treasure

IMG_0561I put together a display for my dining room using my new thrifted mushroom bowl.  I’ve had the rabbits out since before Easter and I love how they look in this vignette with the nest and mushroom.  A teacher once gave me the nest to use in my classroom.  I didn’t tell her that after I showed it to the kids I took it home to use for decorating.

This piece of furniture was Granny’s and so was the fruit print hanging over it.  Mama bought the lamp at an antique shop, the shade is not antique.

I love putting a thrifty treasure into use in my home!

I’m sharing this for Tabletop Tuesday at Marty’s A Stroll Thu Life

And at Beth’s The Stories from A to Z.

  5. Hi Paula.. This is just a darling little setting. I love how you’ve changed the bunnies from looking Eastery to spring with the addition of the mushrooms and the nest.

I sure got a grin over your story about taking the nest home to decorate with! 😉 Cute!
