November Table
We had a dinner party last Saturday night for the two couples that couldn’t make it to the supper club dinner that we hosted a few weekends ago. The plan was to spend most of the evening outside around the fire pit, but it was too cold, even with the fire and our heater.
Our menu was very similar to what was served for supper club. I made Southern Living’s beer cheese for an appetizer, Richella’s pork tenderloin, and roasted cauliflower. Terri made twice baked potatoes and rolls and Nicole made Ina’s Roasted Butternut Squash and Spinach salad. It was a great meal!
I kept the table very similar to my supper club pumpkin carving table but with a few changes. I used different placemats and napkins, added pumpkin napkin rings, Indian Corn candles and Pilgrims to give the table a Thanksgiving feel.
We had such a fun time that I never thought about taking pictures while my guests were here. I guess that’s the sign of a good party!
What are you doing this Saturday? We are at the beach for a race tomorrow. It’s sunny and beautiful here and I can’t wait to spend the day shopping and relaxing. We also plan to eat at some of our favorite restaurants while we are here.
Your table is just gorgeous. Love the candles, how different and cute. The menu sounds wonderful. Have fun at the beach. Hugs, Marty
Sounds like a nice evening! Carla
ok, totally random but I love your stove…or at least what I can see from it.
Looks a like a fun time! The food on the stove looks yummy too!!
I just pulled my Autumn out for a tablescape too Paula. Your table looks so inviting and the food sounds fabulous.
Sounds like such fun! You are a great hostess, I think–your guests are a lucky bunch!
Those Indian corn candles. . . how darling! Where did you get those?
Have a great weekend!
Hey girlfriend! Your table is lovely and the food sounds divine! I need to try that roasted cauliflower – yum!
I’m catching up on a few of my fave blogs (like this one) and gearing up for the holidays. Is it really November?
Have a blessed weekend!
Your china is so pretty! Lovely table, and I bet that evening was loads of fun!

Lovely!! Sounds like a great menu too. I’d like to host things more often, but it’s hard to find other couples who aren’t busy all the time. 🙁
