On Cloud Nine
Elsie and I just kicked some serious butt on the tennis court tonight. We played #1 doubles against the number one team in our division. The two ladies that we played were so sure of themselves and you could tell that they just knew that they were going to beat us. Elsie and I beat them 6-1, 6-4. They went off the court with their tail between their legs. Our team ended up losing the match, but it sure was nice to win on our court. I hope that our captain will schedule us to play together again this season. Both of us are usually scheduled for singles.
Three more days of school and I’m a free woman!
