Rain, Rain, Rain
I’m not complaining, we can certainly use every bit of rain that we can get after the last few years of drought, but it sure would be nice to spread it out a little bit.
Tennis was cancelled last night because the courts were soaked, so we had a very fun evening celebrating Cinco de Mayo. I wasn’t planning to drink, but Elsie had a very bad day and we figured that wine was in order. Her mom broke her wrist a while back, had surgery, and is supposed to get her cast off on Friday. Yesterday she fell and broke her patella. Poor thing! Talk about rotten luck. The emergency room doctor predicted that she would need surgery for this injury, too. She is an avid fox hunter and was looking forward to getting back on her horse. It will be a few more months for her. A glass of wine later, I think Elsie had calmed down a bit.
Another match is scheduled for 8 pm tonight. Rain is predicted again. I hope that we can get this match in because it is difficult to find court time to reschedule.
Have a great Wednesday! Yeah! It’s already Wednesday!
I hear ya! I want to get out and paint my desk, but it won’t make up its mind here to be sunny!! 🙂
I know what you mean. It is raining like crazy here. I feel like I may start growing mold!:-) Have a great day!
I hope you get your match in! Hubby had his first three matches of this past season cancelled because of rain! Then trying to work in the makeup matches with the courts scheduled almost every night was a nightmare for him!
So, you see, my work is done if I have inducted one member into the cult–I mean, fan club– of SYTYCD. 😉 😉 You’ll love it. The first two weeks are like the American Idol auditions, but after they have the contestants set, it is awesome. 🙂
Oh, I love the rain but I can understand how it really messes up outdoor activities.
Have a great day 🙂
