Tonight’s Fun

We are going on a ghost walk tonight that is sponsored by our local historical society. The walk starts in a local park that is surrounded by old homes. The guides dress in 1800’s costumes and lead their group from house to house by the light of a lantern. Groups stop in front of certain houses and the guide tells a story of a ghostly happening that occured in that home. We’ve been on two tours in the downtown area by the same group and it is always a good time. It is cold, grey, and a tiny bit misty this evening, so the atmosphere is perfect for a ghost walk. We’ll head to the club after the walk for drinks and dinner.

I am so glad that it is Friday. This has been a long week. (Aren’t they all when you are working?) My mom is coming tomorrow to shop with me and to spend the night. I am really looking forward to spending the day with her.
