Top Ten Posts for 2014
For me 2014 went by so quickly! It is hard to believe that in just a few short days it will be a new year. At the end of the year it is fun to look back at which posts were popular.
Let’s see which of my posts made the cut for the top ten posts for 2014. I’m starting with number ten. Scroll down to see more!
Number Ten
We loved this cake! After posting the recipe, several people sent pictures to me showing me their version. We all agree that this is a great cake.
Number Nine
I have made this soup so many times in 2014, if fact, I made it the other night for a post-tennis dinner for some girl friends. This is a great recipe!
Number Eight
My Grandmother’s Melt in Your Mouth Cookies
These cookies really do melt in your mouth. My grandmother made them as Christmas cookies every year until she could no longer bake. This is a family favorite!
Number Seven
This scrub will leave your hands and feet super soft.
Number Six
Plow and Hearth Knockoff Chevron End Table
Plow and Hearth inspired this knockoff of their Chevron End Table. Later on, I gave it an update by adding a stripe of gold around the top.
Number Five
Media Cabinet Makeover with Decoupage
A laminate media cabinet from Crate and Barrel looks like a totally different piece of furniture with the addition of chalk paint and fish themed paper decoupaged on the doors.
Number Four
DIY Aged Pots with a Vintage Image Transfer
These pots are easy to make and look great used either indoors or outdoors. My aunt loved mine and I was thrilled to give it to her.
Number Three
Vintage Bedside Table Makeover (No Paint)
This bedside table was first used by my dad and then by me when I was in college. It desperately needed and update and refinishing it really brought out the beauty of the wood.
Number Two
Clothespin snowflake ornaments are easy to make and look pretty on the tree.
Number One
Lamp Makeover (A Dumpster Find!)
While vacationing at the beach, I couldn’t resist picking through a dumpster in front of a rental house that was being cleaned out for new owners. This lamp was ugly before and I think a quite beautiful after.
Thanks to all for following along with me in 2014. I’m looking forward to what 2015 brings!
